TVC HAS BUILT THE MOBILE RADIO STUDIO AND SUPPORT VAN FOR LITHUANIAN NATIONAL BROADCASTER LRT
In 2023, TVC was proudly announced as a winner of the tender for the design and production of a Mobile Radio Studio and Support VAN to the state-owned Lithuanian Broadcasting Company (LRT).
The Lithuanian National Radio and Television (LRT) is a non-profit, government-funded public broadcaster that has been providing regular radio services since 1926 and television broadcasts since 1957. More information about LRT can be found here: https://apie.lrt.lt/en/about-lrt
According to LRT's plan, the mobile studio will be used for various small shows, popular radio programs, significant national events, and cultural event live broadcasts and recordings.
KEY FEATURES:
• Coach build: The complex was built on IVECO DAILY 70C18 and IVECO DAILY 35C14 vehicles.
• Studio and Control Room: The main OB van includes a studio and a control room, while the support van houses the compartment for engineering team and a diesel generator.
• Power Sources: The mobile radio studio van can be powered from an external network, support van's diesel generator or solar panels (up to 2 kW).
• Year-Round Operation: The OB van's interior is fitted with thermal insulation panels, heating, air conditioning and ventilation systems, allowing operation across Lithuania in various weather conditions.
• Design Features: The studio has one glazed side and a retractable platform nearly equal in size to the coach area. The interior along the perimeter is decorated with LED strips for aesthetic purposes.
• Studio Lighting: The mobile radio studio is equipped with Dedo Weigert studio lights, controlled via tablet using the DMX protocol.
TECHNICAL HIGHLIGHTS:
• Sound System: The core of the hardware studio is a 64-channel digital sound mixer, eMotion LV1 Live Mixer, complete with a FIT control panel and three Titan-R SoundGrid Servers, one of which serves as an effects platform for sound processing.
• Digital Sound Station: The complex includes a PC-based digital sound station and a "playout" station.
• Audio Equipment: The radio OB van is equipped with Sennheiser microphone radio systems, Genelec and MEYER monitors and DirectOut input/output interfaces in both the control room and stage boxes.
• Visual Broadcasting System: The mobile studio features a radio broadcast visualizing system with 5 Multicam remote-controlled cameras, a VMIX PRO "playout" workstation, video monitors and a large 504x336 pixel outdoor LED screen from Bako Vision Company.
